By entering the words YES below, and signing below, I agree to release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental, management and reservations of the property listed above and the owners and employees of said property and to release and hold harmless it's owners or representatives and the owners of the home for any loss or damage to personal property or for any injury/death. I take full responsibility for any and all other guests/friends/family members staying/visiting in the villa/property during my reservation. *
CANCELLATION POLICY: By entering the words "I AGREE" below, I agree to applicable cancellation policy as described. Standard Cancellation Policy applied to all bookings as of September 1, 2021: If original signer of this reservation contract submits HDS cancellation form within 60 days prior to arrival date, a reschedule is allowed for up to 2 years from the original reservation arrival date (no holidays allowed); No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstances. No refunds will be made for outages of electricity, phone, broadband, satellite TV. Payments made toward the cancelled reservation will be applied towards any rescheduled reservation, less a 10% rebooking fee based on current rescheduled villa rate. If reservation is cancelled by management of Hacienda del Secreto for guest safety due to any unforeseen conditions, such as hurricane or any other natural disaster, guest has up to 2 years to reschedule reservation (no holidays allowed, unless holiday date was the original booking). No HDS cancellation form is required if reservation is cancelled by management. In order to confirm the rescheduled date for reservation, a new HDS reservation contract must be submitted via the HDS website. We highly recommend that you acquire travel insurance through a replicable agency to cover any monetary losses you may incur due to unforeseen events or natural disasters. Cancellation Policy for Events with Total Villa Buy-Out or a Licensed Travel Advisor Booking: 80% refund is offered upon receipt of HDS cancellation form (available on website) 95 days in advance of arrival date. No refunds less than 94 days. No refunds for holiday weeks. Standard reschedule policy applies as an option for cancellation. Absolutely, no rental payments will be refunded. If cancellation is for any reason including hospitalization, death in the family or a natural disaster such a hurricane, an alternative date can be rescheduled at a later date (up to one year, from original reservation date). Covid-19 Cancellation Policy: Due to the global pandemic, we have implemented a COVID19 reschedule policy to help alleviate travel concerns to our reserved guests. If there is a travel ban in place, preventing travel to the area of Hacienda Del Secreto/Casa Del Secreto located on the Riviera Maya in Mexico; the person's name that submitted the reservation contract may submit a HDS cancellation form prompting the formal rescheduling of agreed reservation. The reservation reschedule may be transferred to another party by written consent from the name listed on original reservation. The rescheduled reservation must be completed within 2 years from the arrival date listed on the original reservation. The total dollar amount paid towards the original reservation will be applied towards the rescheduled villa reservation, holiday weeks are excluded. If a person listed on the reservation contract has been diagnosed with COVID19, a positive test result of the person listed on your reservation contract must be provided to receive the COVID19 reschedule policy. A reschedule fee does not apply to the first COVID19 reschedule, a 20% reschedule fee is applied to each additional reschedule. (20% reschedule fee is based on the total villa rental reservation amount) Cancellation Policy applied to all bookings completed before September 1, 2021: 80% refund (of the 50% deposit) if cancelled 95 days prior to arrival. (20% reschedule fee is based on the total villa rental reservation amount) Exception: If cancellation is due to a verified hospitalization, death in the family or a major natural disaster such a hurricane, an alternative date can be rescheduled at a later date for all single villa reservations (up to two years, from original reservation date, with all rescheduling fees waived). If the booking includes a full buyout of our property, a 25% rescheduling fee will due upon rescheduling the new date. No refunds will be made for outages of electricity, phone, broadband, satellite TV or sargassum (sea weed). Paying client agrees to release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental, management and reservations of the property listed above and the owners and employees of said property and to release and hold harmless it’s owners or representatives and the owners of the home for any loss or damage to personal property or for any injury/death. Paying client takes full responsibility for any and all other guests/friends/family members staying/visiting in the villa/property during the reservation. *
