PLEASE INCLUDE THE 21% TAX INTO THE TOTAL RATE. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT 50% OF THIS TOTAL RATE IS DUE UPON BOOKING TO SECURE YOUR RESERVATION. 75% FOR ALL HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS. BALANCE IS DUE 60 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR SINGLE VILLAS, 180 DAYS FOR THREE OR MORE VILLAS.

Cancellation Policy for Hacienda del Secreto, herein described as HDS includes the properties of Casa del Secreto, Villa Sarita, Villa Canteena, Villa Umakiha, Villa Tortuga, Palapa Family Suite and Palapa Master Suite. Standard Cancellation Policy: If original signer or legal representative of this reservation contract submits HDS cancellation form (available on HDS website) within 60 days prior to arrival date, a reschedule is allowed for up to 2 years from the original reservation arrival date (no holiday reschedules allowed, reschedule only allowed August 15-December 15, no monetary refunds). If you have a confirmed booking of multiple villas, qualified as a total buyout, please see the next cancellation policy below. No monetary refunds will be made for disruptions to services, such as, but not limited to outages of electricity, water, phone, broadband and television services. Monetary refunds will not be given due to disruption or loss of rental days due to forces of nature. Further, no reimbursements will be given for theft for any reason, all valuables must be placed in secured safety box in bedroom. Any and all payments made toward the cancelled reservation will be applied towards any rescheduled reservation, plus a 10% rebooking fee based on current rescheduled villa rate. If reservation is cancelled by management of Hacienda del Secreto for guest safety due to any unforeseen conditions, such as hurricane or any other natural disaster, guest has up to 2 years to reschedule reservation (no holidays allowed, reschedule only allowed August 15- December 15, no monetary refund). If reservation is cancelled by management, rescheduling fee is waived. HDS cancellation form is required to be submitted by guest whether reservation is cancelled by guest or management. In order to confirm the rescheduled date for reservation, a new HDS reservation contract must be submitted by guest via the HDS website. We recommend that you acquire travel insurance through a replicable agency to cover any monetary losses you may incur prior to your arrival or during your stay due to unforeseen events.
