Villa Can-teena is an up-scale, private, oceanfront villa which shows
off the talents of the Mexican artisans with the lighted handmade
pottery stairwell wall arrangement and a spectacular wrought iron
staircase. Villa Can-teena is named after my wonderful mother Teen, the
strong, loving matriarch of our family and the very talented person who
designed our villas. Villa Can-teena is decorated with a soft tropical,
mexican flavor.
Imagine the privacy of this luxury ocean front home in combination with
all the services and amenities of a 5 Star hotel. We offer amenities
such as professional massage and spa therapists, concierge, chef services,
babysitting, 24 hour security, high speed wireless internet and much

Playa del Secreto Beach Characteristics
- Over a mile of soft, white, powder-like sand.
- Good Shelling on north end of beach
- Good Snorkeling in calm water on far south end of beach where there are rocks and coral.
- Abundant Sea life of turtles, lobsters, octopus, rays, many varieties
of fish, starfish etc.
- Gradual slope into water, no drop-offs, no rocks except at far south
end of beach.
- Days with wind provides great boogie boarding or body surfing in the
waves.
- Great Surf Fishing
- Several Championship Golf Courses are located as close as 1 mile to 15 miles from villa, Mexico's only PGA Golf course is only 9 miles from the villa.
- Many underwater fresh water springs from the underground rivers and
therefore it has been said that this is the reason we never see sharks.
- Beach is completely free of vendors and crowds
- Only a very few up-scale villas on the entire beach.

Thank you so much for everything… especially Mauricio, Julio, Chef Ricardo and the main Security Guard. As the overall planner for this trip, I had several balls in the air and had to deal with most of the issues that arose. The staff made it so much easier to address the issues and to trouble shoot problems. And a special thank you to Doy, the best manager/owner that I’ve ever dealt with when renting villas or staying at a resort!

We have a large immediate family of 5 children and spouses, and 13 grandchildren (and now one grandson spouse). In July 2010, 22 and sometimes 24 of this immediate family attended a granddaughter's wedding in the Cancun area and spent a great week at the Casa Del Secreto Resort. The resort is on the ocean waterfront with very good security. We were housed in 3 different but adjacent buildings in the complex which offered an excellent combination of privacy and togetherness in the common areas. We had 2 full kitchens, living /dining areas, and 9 bedrooms (2 palacial suites with outstanding ocean views) with private baths as well as access to the common area of the Palapa Jack building. The Resort offered a wide variety of outdoor and indoor activities which provided something of interest to everyone including the teenagers and young adults. We were able to prepare meals if we wished, had excellent maid service and enjoyed 2 exceptionally good dinners in the Palapa Jack facility prepared by the Resort staff for our group. The employees were courteous and friendly and went out of their way to satisfy our wishes and needs. It was a great week for our family!
